i’m gloria — a graphic designer with 8 years experience working in the field. my career jump started in 2012 when i began working in the event + wedding industry, creating everything from planning checklists and inspiration boards to day of materials like signage, placecards, and even some cake decorating. let's just say if there was something to be made i was on it. creative details are my labor of love.
since then, i’ve worked for a start-up online magazine, a bay area based personal branding photographer, an event styling + production company, and a marketing + PR agency. all this growth has led me to my current position as a full-time graphic designer for a internationally known candy company. design, for me, is about solving problems and accepting challenges with confidence, open mindedness, and enthusiasm. as i continue to grow in the creative industry, i am consistently embracing my own made-from-scratch style and eye for what trends are ahead of us. when i am not contributing my graphic design capabilities to jelly belly candy company, brides and grooms or other fun side hustles, i enjoy visiting my alma mater, the fashion institute of design and merchandising, every year during their open house to speak with future designers about how to take on post-grad life with hard work, infinite possibility, and a bottomless cup of coffee.
now that you've heard all about me, i would love to hear all about you. interested in working together? hit that contact button to your top right and let's talk about your newest inspiration; whether it's an edgy campaign idea or your brand and how it needs a fresh image, or even just to say hi. i look forward to getting inspired with you.
